Opening situation: This chapter start while Rue and Katniss in arena planning to attack on Career supplies.
Inciting Force: While I reach over to my point, where the game begin Cato shout out. He is pointing up to the woods for beyond me and Careers begin to arm themselves at once.
Rising Action: After Cato and boy from district 3 head off in to the wood.
Climax: while Katniss is passed the range and shout the supplies (apples bags) with 3 a shoots of arrows.
Falling Action: Blown back word in to the air.

Chapter 17 The Hunger Game: Theme Analysis Seminar Plot: The destruction of the careers’ supplies and lots of made Katniss satisfied whereas Cato and his companions were very furious that in Cato killed the boy from district 3 who was throwing the stone in the ashes. There were a lot of exploisions. Katniss was very injured that she couldn’t walk so she crawled to a safe place to save her life from the hands of Cato and his companions. Her ears were badly wounded. She spent that night covering heself with the leaves and the pine needles in the cold wind. The next day when it was safe, she went to search Rue at the place where they would make a third campfire. On the way she felt so hungry that she remembered the food served in the Capitol. She heard Rue’s four note tone from the mockingjaw’s mouth and thought that Rue was alright. Suddenly she heard the scream and the sound was calling Katniss. She ran towards the scream but it was too late. Rue was entangled in a net and the spear was in her body.
Characters: The main character in this chapter is Katniss who shows her bravery and destroys the camp of careers. Another character is Cato who becomes very furious by the destruction. Rue is another character that faces the last stage of her death at the end of chapter. The suffering of Rue creates tragedy.
Setting: The setting of this part is a deep jungle where Katniss hides for safety after the destruction of the Careers’ camp. The whole night she spends under the tree in the cold windy environment. The next day she walks uphill making the stream as a guide. She fulfills her hunger by eating whatever she finds in the jungle.
Theme: The main theme of chapter 17 is the conflict between Katniss and Cato after the destruction of Career Camp. On the other hand Katniss is so injured that she cannot walk and she crawls. She cannot hear well too. It symbolizes that she is more vulnerable target of the hunger game. This chapter also shows the love and caring of Katniss for Rue.
Conflicts: There is the conflict between Katniss and Cato after the destruction of the camp. Cato suspected Katniss who destructed the camp and she became the main target in the eyes of Cato. On the other hand there is the conflict of loss and gain in the mind of Katniss. The destruction of the camp made Katniss satisfied where as she was so injured that she was not able to walk. To survive, one has to face miserable condition as faced by Katniss at dark night in the jungle. The people in this world are too fighting for the survival where one becomes the winner and another looser. We have seen two world wars as the symbol of such cruel acts. It had killed millions of people and destroyed the feelings and emotions of the whole world. On the other hand, the world is full of challenges and struggles and the outcome is the tragedy that is death. As a new immigrant, I am also facing a lot of problems in this country. I too have to struggle for survival. But I hope one day my life becomes prosperous. For that I have to make my career and face the challenges. I am ready to struggle till the end of my life.
