Katniss gives Peeta some food, and then they kiss again. They settle down and rest for the night. In the morning Peeta’s fever is down. Katniss feeds him some berries she’s collected, and then Peeta makes her rest while he keeps watch. When Katniss wakes up, she finds that Peeta’s wounds are still terrible so she takes care of them. She makes some stew for her and Peeta. Back at the cave, Peeta asks Katniss to tell him a story. The first thing that comes to her mind is hunting with Gale. She told him a story about the Goat man at the Market. The announcer invites all tributes to a feast. He says that there will be something at the feast that each of the tributes need in a book bag marked with their district’s number. Peeta immediately says that Katniss is not going. Katniss wants to go and the two fight. Peeta says he’ll follow her if she goes. Katniss knows he’s stubborn enough to do it. Katniss goes out to get the soup for Peeta to eat. As she’s washing the pot out, a parachute floats down from the sponsors. What is it? Sleep syrup, to knock Peeta out while she goes to battle it out at the feast. Katniss mashes up the sleep syrup with some berries and manages to get Peeta to take it. He realizes what’s happening as the syrup knocks him out.
Opening situation: After Katniss gives Peeta the sleeping syrup; she sat down and began to prepare her self for the feast.
Initiated force: Katniss makes her way to the feast. When she got there she did not see any body, so she thought at one point that probably was in the wrong place. But she sees Foxface coming out of the cornucopia it seems that she spend the night there. Snagging the green backpack she speeds of.
Rising action: Katniss decide to run to her bag when, but she was sorpriced by Clove.
Climax: Clove started to attack Katniss,but not with out Katniss defending her self she manage to shoot two arrows to Clove with out luck, so Clove put Kaniss in to her back and was ready to stab her.
Foiling action: Thresh shows up groves Clove takes her off Katniss’s and he began to bang her head against the cornucopia, so he save Katniss and before he left he told her that he save her only for this time, so Katniss is able to go back to the cave and gave Peeta the hypodermic and save him.
Characters: In those chapters the characters are Katniss, Peeta, Foxface, Clove, and Thresh.
Conflicts: We have in this chapter is character vs. character. Clove fitting Katniss at the feast. Character vs. self Katniss vs. her thoughts. Buck in the cave Katniss keep thanking what is going to happened if she dies, with Peeta very sick in the cave that most likely will not survived for long with out attention. District 12will not has a winner.
Conections; The Hungers Games reminded me of some people in the world fitting for food, fitting to surviving and their goverments doing nothing for it, Is almost like the government is been entertain with their tragedy.
