Opening: When Katniss belt herself in the tree, she found Peeta join in the Career Tributes. Peeta left to check something, and Katniss overheared the other Careers said that they are using Peeta to find Katniss. Katniss disappointed with Peeta. Rising Action: When all of the Careers leave, Katniss checked her snare and fought that she had caught a rabbit. After she cooked and enjoyed her meal; she continues to walk along to looking for a water source. However, she felt so tired, and gave up of her searching. When she felt weak and dehydrated; she fell down. Climax: Suddenly, she realized she was sitting in mud, and the mud must close the water. Then Katniss crawls a few feet forward and fought the water. Falling Action: She filled up her water bottle purifies it with iodine. Resolution: Finally, she fell asleep in another tree, but she has been awaked by fire coming toward her.
Setting: All of them in the horrible Hunger game, and the environment are very dangerous, there is not much water, and much food.
Theme: Having the adventage with the good supply can help you survived.
Conflict: People VS Nature any tributes must overcome the difficult position of the nature first. People VS People tributes need to use their wise to fight with others, and then get survive of the Hunger Game.
Resolution: There is not the specific resoultion in this chapter.

•Peeta tells Caesar, that his crush didn't know about his feelings until now ,as he finished the interview,the audience feels sorry for Peeta because the girl he in love with is in hunger games with him. •Katniss realizes that it’s her; the girl peeta is mentioning that he is in love with and she got angry about to the fact that he just made look weak. •Back at the Training Center, Katniss is furious and pushes Peeta into a vase filled with fake flowers, and he hurts his hands. She yells at him that he had no right to make her look like a fool. •Katniss founds out that Haymitch, part of it, so he explains to Katniss that Peeta has done her a huge favor,he has made her seem desirable. "You're all they're talking about. The star-crossed lovers from District Twelve!" •After Katniss realizes that Haymitch is right, Peeta just made her look direable, before she was just silly girl spinning in a dress but now Peeta jut made her an object of love. Everyone says final good byes: Hunger Games are tomorrow. •Haymitch gives them final advice: Don't fight for supplies or weapons at the Cornucopia. Just get away from the other tribute and find a water source. •Everyone goes to bed but Katniss can't sleep because she is anxious about the games and the traps the game makers will set for them. •Since she can’t sleep, she goes up to the roof where she finds Peeta and she apologizes for pushing him and hurting his hands. Then Peeta tells her that he wanting to die as himself. "I don't want them to change me in there," he said. "Turn me into some kind of monster that I'm not". •Katniss feels guilty that all she is thinking about is the competition while Peeta is thinking on how to maintain his true identity,Katniss tells Peeta to just focus on staying alive. After exchanging few words she goes back to her bed. •In the morning, Cinna gets Katniss ready and a tracking device in placed into her. •Cinna gives Katniss the gold mockingjay pin that she total forget when she took off her clothe early when they arrived in the capitol. •Cinna and Katniss says final goodbyes and Cinna reminds her of Haymitch advice:The hunger games begins.

Katniss got furious about Peeta’s declaration love for her in public and then when she meet Peeta at their training centre floor she pushes him and Peeta hurts his hand. Then after Haymitch explain to her that Peeta just made direable to the audience. Later on Katniss admited to herself that Haymitch was right. Katniss couldn't sleep so she decided to go to the top roof of where they were staying and that's when she meet Peeta there as well and she apologized to him.
This chapter reminds me of movies I watched. (I love you,Beth cooper)The boy was in love with a popular girl at his school and then on their graduation day he give a speech, he declared his love to the girl, in front of all school, the girl was angry at the boy for her embarrassing in front .
Discussion Question Why did Katniss feel furious about Peeta’s statement, of him being in love with her, instead of feeling sorry, to the fact that later on in arena she will have to fight her crush to death?

SUMMARY
ReplyDeletePLOT- The hunger game was about to begin. The contenders were all on a metal circle
in the arena . Katniss gets distracted by Peeta and misses her chance to grab the bow and
arrow. All the contenders sprint in to the forest area to save their lives. Late afternoon
Katniss hears the cannons which are shot every time when each when each tribute were
killed. There were about 11 cannons shot and now only 13 tributes were left. Katniss
wonders if Peeta were killed. She thinks it is better if he is dead and out of the game.
Katniss was hungry and searches for a camp. She sets her stay in a tree and settles in
there with her sleeping bag. The night falls and the faces of the dead tributes were
projected in the sky. Katniss feels relieved when she didn’t see Peeta face in the each
tribute. Five of the careers tributes, Fox face, Thresh and Rue as well as other other three.
CHARACTER- Katniss, Peeta. Five of the careers tributes, Fox face, Thresh and Rue as
well as other other three that were alive in the hunger games.
SETTING- This takes place in the arena where all the tributes were sent to the forest
for the survival of life the hunger games.
THEME- If you cant beat the enemy join them. If you have to give up your fighting

because they were the strongest and he could survive in for long.
